Company History - Recent Development
BluWāv Systems LLC, with its' recent acquisition of Wavecrest Laboratories, is a recognized leader in Hub Motors, Electric Propulsion, and Energy Systems for the Military, Commercial, Automotive, and Industrial markets. BluWāv's intellectual property is in the form of patents, know-how and trade secrets derived from the integration of critical core system skills and resources.

Team and Management
The BluWāv team, based in Rochester Hills, Michigan has extensive background in chassis driveline systems, electric motor design, vehicle controls, and energy management. This broad vertically integrated background enables a multi-physics optimization to produce a highly cohesive yet minimally coupled propulsion and energy storage systems that achieve superior efficiency and performance at the lowest producible cost.

BluWāv's intellectual property and sustainable competitive advantage is derived by applying its full system design, engineering and fabrication capabilities to the following critical areas (Figure 1):

The management team has extensive automotive OEM and Tier 1 commercialization of electronically controlled chassis systems including stability control and by-wire chassis systems. The combined management and engineering team brings intimate design and industry knowledge and a supplier network that has enabled rapid commercialization and market penetration.
